What's the deal with Xrost

To load money onto Allofmp3.com, it used to be:
1) Go to http://www.xrost.biz and put money on a card
2) Go to http://account.allofmp3.com/pays/payments.shtml?action=step2&via=xrost
Login and Deposit.

But this message has been up on Xrost.biz for much longer than 48 hours:

" Dear valued customer,

As part of our ongoing effort to improve the payment platform, we will be performing a scheduled server maintenance. The payment option at our site will be restored in 48 hours.

Sincerely, Xrost Team "

Without Xrost, it's hard to load money onto Allofmp3. There are plenty of other Russian Mp3 sites that allow you can use a credit card, but I hope they return.

Anyone know what's going on?

VISA and MASTERCARD have stopped their customers from paying allofmp3. It's been in the news everywhere around, allofm have scince then (oct 2006) made a smartass move by creating alltunes and accepting payments for allofmp3 (it's the same company really) but VISA and MASTERCARD have now also stopped payments via alltunes... It's getting tricky for our smart friends at allofm.

Xrost worked after both allofmp3.com and alltunes stopped accepting credit cards.

My friend and I were recently talking about how technology has become so integrated in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.
